In an era of massive digitalization in which individuals have indirect communications through the intermediary of a screen, it is psychologically reassuring to believe that the construction of one’s style mirrors its representation as an individual. However, just like any other language, fashion has a myriad of nuances and facets that render any reading and interpretation much more complex.

The main objective of the MBA in Fashion Business at IFA Paris is to equip its postgraduate students with keys to decipher the ever-changing fashion industry.

While studying online from your home, you are able to experience first-hand the intrinsic characteristics of emerging and mature markets thanks to IFA Paris learning by doing pedagogy. The participants’ experience is carefully crafted through seminars opening doors into specific sectors of activity such as luxury watch making, cosmetics and perfume, haute couture or even Oenology and Gastronomy.

The overarching Capstone thesis reflects the students’ commitment to the development of a unique and individual project.

While the course is structured around unique module and learning experiences, the highlight is our faculty of skilled and motivated lecturers who come from more than 20 different countries. This veritable educational melting pot allows you and your classmates to benefit from different cultural perspectives which, in turns, stimulates your propensity to analyze and solve issues in creative and unconventional ways. Our students following the program online also benefit from this unique multi-cultural dynamic thanks to an adapted online to off-line (O2O) pedagogical strategy.

The overall course structure promotes a holistic approach to the fashion industry enabling participants to analyze complex functions. The MBA in Fashion Business is one of the only postgraduate courses that allows its students to understand the integration of Sensorial Marketing within the strategies of international fashion houses.

The development of special seminars in haute couture, fashion trade shows, celebrity endorsements and fashion ethnography are “windows” into unique activities or phenomenon of the fashion industry. From their implication in the organization of fashion related events to the discovery of the inner sanctum of Paris Haute Couture Ateliers, online students will be able to improve their professional portfolio with experiences that will ultimately render their profile more sophisticated and attractive to potential employers.

Finally, from inception to graduation, and regardless of their location, online Postgraduate students of IFA Paris will benefit from the support of a unique department called the “Career and Alumni Centre”. The industry relation arm of IFA Paris’ academic courses is in charge of organizing weekly guest lectures, client projects and exclusive internships.

Whether studying physically on our campuses, or online, students will have access to exclusive brand launch events, fashion shows, art exhibitions or professional trade-shows in order to build their own professional network. The Career and Alumni Centre accompanies IFA Paris students even after graduation by linking them with its strong alumni network composed of individuals originating from 50 different countries. The key word here is synergy, whereby IFA Paris, its students and its graduates are all major actors in the reshaping of the fashion industry panorama.

Our MBA Courses are structured with the ECTS framework in mind as set by the Bologna Convention. Upon completion of their studies participants will gather a total of 120 ECTS that they will be able to transfer if they wish to further their studies. This program is also certified by FEDE (Fédération Européenne Des Écoles).

This online course takes place live and in real-time (Paris or Istanbul local time) and you will interact with the lecturer and other students through our online platform. However, if you cannot attend or miss a live class, every session is also recorded and saved, so you can go back and watch it at a later suitable time for you.

  • All applicants at the Postgraduate MBA level need to be Bachelor graduates.
  • Ideally have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media & Communication or Fashion Design related fields.
  • Non-native English speakers need to provide an IELTS score of 6.5 or above, or a TOEFL score of 79 or above. Alternatively, provide an English training certificate or proof of previous education in English.
    COVID-19 and Lockdown: We are aware that it is extremely difficult to obtain a language certificate with the current situation. IELTS has launched an online system to evaluate your English proficiency, IELTS Indicator. We accept this certificate and you can find more information on obtaining this certificate here.
  • Significant professional experience in related fields preferred, but not required (internships are taken into account).
  • Go through the checkout process and then upload: latest transcript, copy of Bachelor diploma or equivalence, Motivation letter, Resume/CV and copy of Passport/ID Card. All documents should be in English or translated to English by a professional translator.
  • € 150 Application fee.
  • Online interview (Skype).
  • Online entrance exam.

Fee Structure

Tuition Fee: € 9,500
Full tuition has to be paid before the start of the course in order to access the classes.

Resource Fee: € 200, payable with the tuition fees.
